Local Liaison Committee
The Local Liaison Committee was established during the planning and construction phase. This group provides an important forum for interested members of the community to find out more about the project and to ensure that all information can be shared with other neighbours. The LLC meets on a six-monthly basis.

Supporting the local economy
More than 300 jobs were created during the construction of the facility, which had a positive impact on the local economy. here is a commitment to purchase goods and services from local companies wherever possible.
The facility itself employs around 50 people on a permanent basis across a range of disciplines and skills. A high proportion of these employees are from the local area.
